Prayer request!

Folks, you may remember Tob posting about Sherry Sanders who is from Weber City. I just got a call from my wife, and she was called into the hospital at UNC-Chapel Hill this morning around 3 AM. She was then to be getting her prep work, and to be sent for her lung transplant.

We all knew someone had to die for her to live. Apparently this has happned, but I do request your prayers for her that God will keep her through this procedure.

As soon as I hear something else, I will let you all know. Thanks again folks for the prayers, they are greatly appreciated.

I just got a call from my wife. Sherry was taken into surgery around 1 PM. It will be an 11 to 12 hour surgery. Thanks for everyones prayers, they will all be appreciated.

Unforunately, I do have bad news. Just before they went to perform the surgery, they were making some checks over the lungs there were going to be transplanted. They had an infection on them that would have probably cost Sherry her life if they had used them.

It is a huge let down for everyone, especially since they had been told everything was a go since 3 AM. Please keep her, and the family, in your prayers. She is in need of them very quickly as things have been degrading recently.

Luckily, they did notice this before the prodecure took place, so that is the silver lining I guess. We all just hope this opportunity will happen again very soon. Thanks again for the prayers, and the many more that will follow.
